WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE OF THE ANGLICAN CHURCH OF SOUTH SUDAN
A Spiritually Growing Church with the Gospel Mission to the World
WELCOME MESSAGE BY THE PRIMATE
Grace and peace greetings in the name of the Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit, Amen
The Anglican Church of South Sudan is a church formed on the biblical call of God to serve, spreading the unchanging Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ in furthering his Kingdom.
We in The Anglican Church of South Sudan believe in the unchanging truth of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, believing in both the Old and New Testaments as God's word necessary for salvation.
Our Lord Jesus after triumphing over Satan and victoriously raised from the dead, gave us a great commission to spread the Gospel across the nations, baptizing the believers and teaching them to be obedience to the teachings and commandments of our Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 28: 19-20).
As the church with the Gospel Mission, we are open to joining hands with the rest of the mission-oriented churches to further the Kingdom of God as Jesus himself has called and sent us to the world.
Part of our mission is to be holistic in advancing and transforming the people of God through the Gospel mission by educating, developing, teaching, and reconciling the conflicting communities as well as ensuring access to services for those affected such as orphans, elderly, women, and men who are affected by various issues. For Jesus himself said, come to me all ye burdened and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28-30).
We pray that God guide his mission as he called us to serve him and complete his mission in this world, for our home is in heaven if we win the victory over Satan.
Blessings,
Most Rev. John Machar Thon

We are all called to be servants of our Lord Jesus Christ. In every situation, remember to honour the father who is in heaven despite challenges you may go through, for he said, “I am sending you like sheep among the wolves”. Therefore, our main weapon is prayer as we preach the love of our Lord Jesus Christ to the world.
