New Officials Appointed in the Province of Central, The Anglican Church of South Sudan
The Archbishop of the Province of the Central, The Anglican Church of South Sudan has appointed new officers in different categories in the Province and Dioceses of Amiel, Duk Padiet and Duk Payuel Dioceses. On the 12th July 2020, the Archbishop of the Province of Central with the divine permission appointed the following officers in the two standing orders.
- Mr. Chol Dau Giet (LLB) – Provincial Chancellor in the Province of Central
- Ven. Abraham Maring Deng Kachuol – Vicar General in the Diocese of Duk Padiet
- Ven. John Deng Wuor Mun – Dean of the Good Shepherd, Diocese of Duk Padiet
- Ven. Simon Matiop Chol Dut Yath – Vicar General in the Diocese of Amiel
- Ven. Rebecca Ajok Reeth – Vicar General in the Diocese of Duk Payuel
The orders of appointment are effective on the 12th July 2020 as signed by the Archbishop. The Provincial comes as the mention dioceses run vacuum and the new Bishop is yet to take his duties.
In the earlier appointment dated 21 June 2020, the Archbishop appointed Mr. Daniel Ajak Magai Nyok as the Secretary General of the Province in the province of Central, The Anglican Church of South Sudan.
