In January 2018, Archbishop of the Anglican Church of South Sudan approved the election by Anglican Diocese of Rumbek where Rev. Jacob Ngor Bol Kuendit was elected as the second bishop succeeding the later father in Christ, Rt. Rev. Moses Ater Pagarau who was the first bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Rumbek. The Anglican Church of South Sudan welcomes the election of Rev. Jacob Ngor Bol Kuendit who has been serving as the Provincial Treasurer and Director of finance committee since 2015.
